![]() ![]() ![]() WW: I promise it doesn’t just come from her condition, but I couldn’t help finding Hattie a bit child-like, and Bret in turn more of an almost paternal / guardian figure - couldn’t completely get into the romance. I of course directed my attention to other Ellen O’Connell works, but after really liking but not loving as much Without Words and Sing My Name, I’d rather take a little break and not be disappointed when I come back to her novels later on. ![]() Or even if you haven’t read any of those, but you have another Western Romance you can’t get over and would like to share (can you feel the desperation ?). Recently read and adored Eyes of Silver, Eyes of Gold and Dancing on Coals by Ellen O’Connell – I would love to read more of that genre, but I’m afraid I have now set the bar way too high…įor those of you who read and loved either or both, what other Western Romances did you like just as much ? Or dare I say, more ? I’ll even take the ones you liked a tad bit less. ![]()
